It is thunderstorm season. Here in big sky country that means sudden tornado warnings and biblical rolling skyscapes. Last year’s supernatural hail event left holes in all the big leafy garden plants. It was a summer-long reminder that a sunny day is like luck - it can change on a dime.
Sometimes during a hard rain, it seems like the raindrops aren’t so much falling as being thrown. It is as if the water is a weapon in a war between water and earth gods. No surprise to find so many warrior gods of thunder in polytheistic mythologies. This month’s word search names the best known of these gods from around the world.
