For Puzzle-lovers with a Flair for Mystery
June Newsletter | The Lantern & Lens Society's Invitation - A Cozy Puzzle Collection!
You’ve become something of a local legend — spotting patterns in crosswords no one else noticed, solving logic grids before the kettle boils, and uncovering the odd clue tucked inside the classifieds. You even cracked the mystery of the out-of-order library index cards (the librarian still talks about that).
Folks joke you’ve got the mind of a detective and the luck of someone destined for a secret society, if one ever existed.
But what if it did?
Whispers have begun to surface about an old, secretive circle known as the Lantern & Lens Society, a group said to prize logic, observation, and wit above all else. Membership is by invitation only… and invitations are never sent by accident.

About This Puzzle
This is the fourth in a series of multi-page puzzle narratives I’ve started calling Cozy Puzzle Collections, a little side project that’s become one of my favorite things to make. These stories blend logic, deduction, and observation puzzles with just a hint of mystery and atmosphere.
I’m still feeling out what this new (to me!) sub-genre really looks like, so if you have any thoughts, suggestions, or feedback, I’d truly love to hear them. Your insights help me shape where this goes next.

Upcoming Book…
While I don’t have any new titles to announce just yet, I’m currently working on a new tracing book for Kindle Scribe, designed for anyone who wants to relax, unwind, and doodle without overthinking. If you enjoy tracing as a calming, meditative break in your day, I think you’ll love what’s coming.
You are welcome to print the monthly newsletter puzzles as often as you like and share them with friends, family, students, or anyone you think will enjoy them. Please remember not to sell the puzzles, distribute them electronically, or claim them as your own work. Thank you!
